The Oscar award-winning movie “The Passion of the Christ” will be screened Sunday, March 24 at 5 p.m. at Eastside Christian Church in Lake Placid. Admission is free and no contributions will be asked. The screening is co-hosted by Eastside Christian and the Heartland Family Church of Christ.

The Passion of the Christ is a 2004 American drama film directed by Mel Gibson and starring Jim Caviezel as Jesus Christ. It depicts the Passion of Jesus largely according to the New Testament Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
