Lake Placid is again poised for the national spotlight. On the heels of being named “America’s most interesting town” by Reader’s Digest magazine, Lake Placid is now scheduled to be featured on national television.
Tour Lake Placid will host a party Saturday to screen the Lake Placid segment of “Weird Florida: On The Road Again” with Charlie Carlson and his curious canine Lady Isabel. Show times at the Caladium Arts and Crafts Cooperative will be 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
