The South Florida State College District Board of Trustees is getting closer in its search to find a replacement for SFSC President Norman L. Stephens Jr., who will retire June 30.

The review of applications began Monday with 47 applicants requesting consideration for the presidential post. Those interested in the position hail from the United States and Canada.
