The annual election of officers will be featured at a Monday, Feb. 18 meeting of the Placid Lakes Home and Property Owners Association. The meeting will be from 7 to 9 p.m. at Placid Lakes Town Hall on Placid Lakes Blvd.

In addition to the elections, discussion topics will include the Catfish Creek dredging schedule, a new mowing and landscape contract, the seawall at Tobler Park on Lake June-In-Winter, extending the concrete sidewalk along Placid Lakes Boulevard, and Lake August and the canals in Placid Lakes.
