Lake Placid’s Bethel Baptist Church, located at 216 E. Park St., will start the new year with a special revival featuring Dr. Dale Aguiar speaking and special music at each service with accordion artist Don Case and his wife Kim. The revival runs from Sunday, Jan. 13, through Friday, Jan. 18.
Dr. Aguiar is from Louisiana and has been preaching the Old Time Gospel for many years, said the church’s pastor, Rev. John Hankins. “Likewise, Don and Kim Case have been singing Old Time Gospel songs accompanied by his accordion for 30 years,” the pastor added.
