South Florida State College has accepted a challenge issued Nov. 27 by Florida Gov. Rick Scott to make earning a bachelor’s degree more affordable. SFSC officials joined with a handful of colleges across the state to accept the challenge the very day it was issued.
“We certainly accept Governor Scott’s $10,000 challenge with enthusiasm,” SFSC President Norm Stephens said in a prepared statement. “The governor’s challenge is very achievable for students attending SFSC.”
