Polk County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking information about a shooting that occurred on Sept. 29 in Haines City.

At approximately 5:10 p.m. that evening, a person was shot at the intersection of H.L. Smith and Hatchineha Road. The victim received non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies believe several witnesses saw the incident, and are urging them to come forward.
