Warmth returning, but so is the cold

The cool weather seems to have left these sandhill cranes unphased as they gathered north of State Road 60 east of Bartow. More than 30 birds were spotted in this pasture where they appeared to be foraging for a winter meal.

Though the cooler weather may have had you turning on the heater at night and putting on a jacket in the morning, it’s nothing like what is happening in the rest of the country.
But we’re not there.
