Oak Park reunion Sunday

Oak Park Baptist Church is celebrating a reunion at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27 with a special cowboy western theme.

The speaker is cowboy preacher Randy Johnson. There will be a dinner on-the-grounds after the service and a singfest after the dinner.

Oak Park began as a mission of the First Baptist Church on June 16, 1957. It began in a tent across the street from and just north of where the present building is in the yard of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Starling. Rev. Joe Carroll was the first mission pastor.
