ENGLEWOOD — The Lemon Bay High School junior varsity football team made several mistakes early in the game against the undefeated Cardinal Mooney Cougars Thursday.

The Mantas fell behind 13-0 at the end of the first quarter and that lead grew to 32-7 before a pair of Lemon Bay touchdowns in the final quarter drew them to within 10 points. That was as close as they could get as the Cougars held on for a 32-22 win.
