New York duo charged with credit card fraud

SARASOTA COUNTY — Authorities arrested two people from New York who are alleged to have flown to Florida with the sole purpose to commit widespread credit card fraud, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.

Myles Nicholas, 26, of Jamaica, N.Y.; and Graisy Pichardo, 22, of New York, N.Y., both were charged with trafficking in counterfeit credit cards, petty theft, two counts of grand theft and three counts of fraudulent use of credit cards, a report states, after their arrest at a Bradenton hotel Wednesday morning.
