Pier pigeon problem persists

Stopping by for a drink. A pigeon sits stop a fish cleaning station at the Venice Fishing Pier. Pest control killed 40 on Monday in a sweep of the birds, which are a health hazard for a nearby restaurant.

Pigeons are turning the nets under the Venice Fishing Pier into nests, say Sharky’s on the Pier Restaurant owners.
The netting was installed last year to keep them out.
