Betty Lessard Yodkins Kellert

Betty Lessard Yodkins Kellert, 76, of Englewood, Fla., and formerly of Unionville, Conn., and Farmington, Conn., went home to be with God, Tuesday, March 12, 2013.
She was born March 14, 1936, in Lewis, N.Y.
Betty had a master’s degree in teaching, and taught in Farmington. She was a member of the Eastern Star and received her 50-year pin. Betty was president of the auxiliary of the Eagles, secretary/treasurer of the VFW, and a member of the Moose auxiliary. She had a love of her family, friends and bowling.
Betty is survived by her husband, Richard Kellert; son, Joseph (Anne) Yodkins; daughter, Jeannie Yodkins (Steve) Clayton; grandchildren, Katie Yodkins (Nate) Stein, Melanie Yodkins, Joanna Yodkins, Jerri-Lynne Clayton, James (Tiffany) Clayton and Jennifer Clayton (Chad) Clark; sisters, Joan Dubiel and Patricia Vogt; three stepchildren, Bob Kellert, Carol Cahill and Linda Kellert; four great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one great-niece. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Yodkins.
A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013, at the Englewood Eagles, 250 Old Englewood Road, Englewood, FL 34223.
