Donna Cicchese-Costa, 75, of Rotonda West, Fla., passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.

She was born Nov. 19, 1937, in Brockton, Mass., and moved to this area in 2006 from New Bedford, Mass.

Mrs. Cicchese-Costa was a retired Secretary in the medical field, and was also employed the by the city of Fall River, Mass. She was a member of the American Legion in Rotonda West, she volunteered at several social activities, and was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Englewood, Fla.

Survivors include her sister, Mary Ann Brinket of Huntington Beach, Calif.; brother, Larry Cicchese of North Easton, Mass.; four nephews; and two nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at the American Legion in Rotonda West. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238; or the American Cancer Society, 992 Tamiami Trail, Unit C-2, Port Charlotte, FL 33953.
