George Patrick Hancock, 44, of Rotonda West, Fla., passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013.

He was born Sept. 27, 1968, in Arlington Heights, Ill., and moved to this area in July 2010 from Brazoria, Texas.

Mr. Hancock was a electrician and served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; daughters, Abigail, Sarah, and Mandi Rebekan; sons, Marshall, Daniel and Dakota; grandchild, Kale; mother, Kathy Pearson; stepfather, Jim Pearson; father-in-law, James Bredwell; and mother-in-law, Lynn Bredwell.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Rotonda West Community Church. Memorial donations may be made to the family; please call National Cremation Society at 941-624-5212 for details.
