Lorraine J. Sutherland, 92, of Rotonda West, Fla., passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013.

She was born Dec. 9, 1920, in Fall River, Mass.

Lorraine moved to Florida in 1992, from Warren, R.I. She retired from the Textile Industry in Fall River, and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Englewood, Fla.

Lorraine is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Sutherland Jr.; son, George D. Sutherland III; and brother, Gerard Morin.

There will be no services per Mrs. Sutherland request. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Swansea, Mass. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.

Arrangements are by National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte, Fla.
