Jerone Wayne Campbell
March 16, 1995 ~ Dec. 7, 2012
Jerone lit up any room he walked in and brought joy to anyone he encountered. When Jerone was 4, his family moved to New York, where he first went to school. He was very popular all throughout school and made lots of friends. Jerone is survived by his mother, Janet Minott; brother, Randy Wilson; sister, Fiona Wilson; grandmother, Ena Harrison; cousin, Tameca Fullwood; nephews, Jordon and Jayden Wilson; and niece, Myah Wilson.
Jerone and his family moved back to Florida and has been living in Englewood, Fla., for the last six years. He went to L.A. Ainger Middle School and played basketball and Pop Warner football. He continued to play football as he attended Lemon Bay High School. His coach and teammates loved him like family, and he loved them too. He was and still is loved by many, and has changed the lives of everyone he encountered for the better. His death was a tragedy, but his life will always be remembered as joyful and happy. Our family is close because of Jerone, and will never be the same. He was the happiest person you would come across. We also would like to thank the whole community that has helped Jerone in this time of need.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with funeral services to follow, Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Englewood United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood. You may express your condolences to the family and sign the guestbook at www.lemonbayfh.com.
Lemon Bay Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
