Arthur G. Krausmann, 69, of Englewood, Fla., passed away suddenly Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Manatee Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 24, 1943, in Detroit, Mich.

Arthur served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a resident of Englewood for 12 years, coming form Dearborn Heights, Mich. Arthur was a member of the Florida Hot Rod Association.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Helen; step-son, Dustin Malvitz; sisters, Barbara, and Ann; as well as many nieces and nephews.
