Thomas A. Cromie, 66, of Rotonda West, Fla., passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at his Charlotte County, Fla., residence with his loving family at his side.

He was born June 18, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Arthur and Margaret Cromie.

Thomas moved to Florida six years ago from Murrysville, Pa. He retired after 35 years from the Gateway School District as a middle school teacher. Thomas was a member of the Rotonda Elks and SNPJ. He enjoyed model railroading, wood working, golf and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Natalie; son, Michael (Elizabeth) of Jordan, Minn.; daughters, Suzanne Sharp of Pittsburgh and Natasha Brill of Boston, Mass.; sister, Judith Cromie of Pittsburgh; and grandchildren, Grace and Samuel.

Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. You may share a memory with the family at www.englewoodfh.com.

Arrangements are by Englewood Community Funeral Home & Private Crematory.
