Lightning strike survivor recalls frightening experience

Carole Worster doesn’t like this time of year — not with the sudden afternoon boomers and simmering tropics that churn out big, one-eyed storms.

Not after Hurricane Charley tore the roof off her Port Charlotte house while she was in it.
