The Mac Users Digital Photo Special Interest Group meets at
2 p.m. Friday Nov. 9 at Elsie Quirk Library. There will be a discussion about post-production techniques using Apple computers and digital photography. The group meets the second Friday of each month.

Kids ages 5-11 are invited to “Art with Carolyn” on Saturday, Nov. 10 at
10:30 a.m. Certified art teacher Carolyn Johnston offers an opportunity for kids to learn basic art techniques. The theme this month is Native American art. At 11 a.m., the Suncoast Writer’s Guild of Englewood Long Writer’s Group meets to discuss book-length manuscripts. Also at 11 a.m., the Multiple Myeloma Support Group meets to share knowledge and provide an environment of hope for those facing multiple myeloma.
