Two local social services organizations have joined forces to help improve the health and well-being of the citizens of Englewood.

The Englewood Area Agency Roundtable and the Englewood Community Health Action Team have blended into one organization, which will collectively be called CHAT, according to Diane Ramseyer with Sarasota County Health Department’s Community Health Improvement Partnership. Both groups focus on identifying public health and social services needs and finding a means to meet those needs, she said.
