PUNTA GORDA — On Thursday, pickleballers and tennis players amicably shared one of the tennis courts at Gilchrist Park, but some say there has been an underlying dispute between the groups ever since the City of Punta Gorda added pickleball lines to two of the four courts in the park.

“The lines and the amount of people on the court is distracting,” said Morgan Voyles, 16, a tennis player who was visiting the area from St. Louis and had to share the courts with a large group of pickleballers.
