Safety will be the priority when the South Manasota/Sandpiper Municipal Services Taxing Unit holds a public input meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Lemon Bay High School cafeteria.

The county has hired Weiler Engineering of Punta Gorda to create a master plan for the Charlotte County portion of Manasota Key and all of Sandpiper Key, MSTU advisory board chairman Frank Chappell said.
