Developer garners rezoning

Pine Lake homeowners association Chairman Art Bacon and other residents say their lake has shrunk far more than it should since Neal Communities began digging lakes across the street for its Boca Royale construction.

ENGLEWOOD — Neal Communities will be able to move ahead with its plans for Keyway Place, a development with up to 75 homes south of Stoner Road and north of Keyway Road on State Road 776.

Lakewood Ranch developer Patrick Neal is also addressing the concerns of nearby Pine Lake residents who believe his construction of a new phase at Boca Royale Golf and Country Club is drawing down their lake.
