Assistant Fire Chief Scott Lane is ready to serve the Englewood Area Fire Control District as its fire Chief. The fire district commissioners agreed Wednesday to begin contract negotiations with Lane.
ENGLEWOOD — Assistant Fire Chief Scott Lane is willing to be the Englewood Area Fire Control District’s next chief.
“It will be an honor to serve as chief for the firefighters, the citizens and the (fire board),” Lane told fire commissioners Wednesday. Fire Commissioner Charles Bray will negotiate a contract with Lane.
