ENGLEWOOD — The years have taken a toll on Lemon Bay High School’s manta ray mascot costume.

The manta ray costume is worse for wear and is being sent back to its manufacturer to be spruced up, assistant principal Bob Bedford said. The reason it simply cannot be sent to a dry cleaner, Bedford said, is due to the materials from which the costume was made.
