DeSoto County’s Terrell Gordon runs hard as seen by these three Lehigh players who were sent flying after making the tackle. Gordon was the area’s leading rusher after week one. He added to that total with 87 more yards and scored the game winning two-point conversion. He also intercepted a pass and ran for 60 yards and a touchdown.

You can bet you’ll get your money’s worth when you attend the first home game for the DeSoto County football team tomorrow night against East Lee County. After suffering a heart-breaking 19-18 in week one in the final seconds of the game, the Bulldogs hung on to win 36-35 over Lehigh after going ahead in the final minute of play.

It wasn’t easy as the Lightning came back downfield and nearly pulled it out in the final 14 seconds of the game. Lehigh’s quarterback had thrown for five touchdowns in the game and brought his team deep into Bulldog territory with less than 30 seconds to play.
