The Port Charlotte Pirates hung on to stop the DeSoto County Bulldogs to even their season mark at 2-2. For the Pirates’ junior varsity volleyball coach Brittany Muse it had to be a bittersweet night.

Muse is a 2009 graduate from DeSoto County. She was a star for the Bulldogs and went on to play college volleyball. She worked with the DeSoto staff in a summer volleyball camp at the school this past summer.
