PUNTA GORDA — Senior point guard Tyliek Sylver scored all 18 of his points in the first half and all but one Charlotte High school player scored as the Tarpons rolled to an 80-46 victory over Manatee in their District 7A-11 finale.

Charlotte (16-6, 8-2) solidified its hold on second place in the district by breaking away early from the Hurricanes by “executing and doing the right things,” Charlotte coach Tom Massolio said.
