Tarpons go long to ease past Sailors

PUNTA GORDA — The Charlotte High School boys basketball team showed off its shooting prowess from downtown during Friday night’s 75-57 victory against district rival Sarasota.
The Tarpons (6-1, 3-0 District 7A-11) hit 11 3-point field goals to win the contest and keep the Sailors searching for their first district win.
