Billie C. Bryant, 91, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, in Arcadia, Fla.

He was born April 27, 1921, in Grand Ridge, Fla.

Billie moved to Arcadia, 25 years ago. He worked in the sod industry for more than 40 years as an equipment operator. Billie enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his family. He was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.

Survivors are his sons, Curtis Bryant of Port Charlotte, Fla., Jay Bryant and Alvin Bryant both of Arcadia, and Earl Bryant of Clewiston, Fla.; daughters, Barbara Johannson of St. Augustine, Fla., Vergi Jozwick and Wanda Gilmore both of Davie, Fla., Patricia McDowell Tellico of Plains, Tenn., and Carol Sairkowitz of St. Augustine; brother, Charles Bryant of Davie; sisters, Agnes Jeter of Panama City, Fla., and Geneva Welles of Plant City, Fla.; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, from the chapel of the Adams Funeral Home, 18034 Main St. North, Blountstown, FL. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery, Alpha, Fla. Online condolences may be made at pongerkaysgrady.com.
