Roberta A. Craig Arrington, 65, of Arcadia, Fla., passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.

She was born June 24, 1947, in Miami, Fla., moving to Arcadia from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in 1977.

Roberta was a broker and agent for an insurance company, retiring from the insurance industry. She loved animals, especially horses. Roberta was a licensed pilot who loved flying, along with scuba diving. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and being with her family. Roberta was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Bartley R. “Bart” Arrington of Arcadia; son, Robert Levine of Arcadia; stepsons, Bartley (Jane) Arrington and Nelson Arrington, both of Arcadia, and Derek (Rachael) of Orlando, Fla.; brother, Ted Gregory of Opelika, Ala.; two sisters, Kay Ferguson of Broken Bow, Okla., and Bettie Cockrell of Council Grove, Kan.; four step-grandchildren; nine nieces; and six nephews. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Robert and Allene Craig; brother, Billie Lou Gregory; and sister, Judy Alls.

A gathering to celebrate Roberta’s life will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia.
