Jeffrey D. Westberry, 58, a lifelong resident of Arcadia, Fla., passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013.

He served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, on the USS Prairie. He was a member of the AMVETS. Jeffery was a hard worker in the Citrus industry. He loved fishing; bike riding; his dog, Patches; his family; and his church, Oak Hill Baptist.

Jeffery is survived by his mother, Evelyn Mickler of Arcadia; brother, David (Barbara) Westberry of Arcadia; sisters, Louise (Sonny) Harrison of Bristol, Fla., Donna (Marvin) Daugherty of Arcadia, and Bonnie Harris of Stevenville, Texas; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Noah Westberry; and sister, Susan Mickler Moncrief.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today, Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, with the Rev. Hal Upchurch officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.pongerkaysgrady.com.
