William A. Young
William A. “Bill” Young, 76, of Arcadia, Fla., went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012.
He was born in Fort Winder, Fla.
Bill grew up in Arcadia, and moved to Bradenton, Fla., in 1969. He retired from the insurance business after 31 and a half years.
He is survived by the love of his life of 57 years, June of Bradenton; children, David (Tania) of Port Charlotte, Fla., Debbie (Kerry) Belk of Van Cleave, Miss., Steve (Julie) of Bradenton, and Susan (Bill) Shilling of Gainesville, Ga.; sister, Carolyn Maxson of Sebring, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., with a service immediately following at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Samoset First Baptist Church, 3200 15th St. E, Bradenton. Interment will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Bill’s name to Tidewell Hospice, 3355 26th St. W, Bradenton, FL 34205.
