Nancy Ambler, Sue Overcash and Edith Wildt share a laugh about the voodoo doll which the members stuck with pins for good luck.
Celebrating the month of February, the L & E Club met at the home of Nancy Ambler. Assisting her was her sister, Edith Wildt, who had baked a scrumptious red velvet cake. The ladies of L & E always enjoy the hospitality of the sisters and especially their baking skills. Assorted nuts and a valentine chocolate heart, along with coffee, completed the plate.
The program for the month was a continuation of the yearlong study of religious observances. L & E member Sue Overcash presented the day’s program on the history and practice of Voodoo.
