Scott: More school money

Gov. Rick Scott said Wednesday he will propose an increase of $1.2 billion in the K-12 education budget, an increase of roughly $400 per student.
The increase is part of a set of education proposals, College and Careers First, that Scott plans to send to the Florida Legislature in the spring.
