Members at the Masonic Lodge have a vision to make the community aware of the Eastern Star organization. Every year there are members of  Eastern Star Chapters throughout the country relocating to our county, especially at the RV parks.

There is a chapter available in DeSoto county that always welcomes new members to join the active Peace River Chapter, meeting at 7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. The Masonic Lodge is at 909 N.E. Oak Street in Arcadia. If not a current Star member, anyone with a Masonic affiliation can be considered as a candidate to join.
