Charlotte County Fire/EMS personnel put out an electrical fire at 143 Rodgers Ave., Port Charlotte, on Monday. Smoke and fiire damage has rendered the home unlivable, according to spokeswoman Dee Hawkins-Garland. No one was injured during the fire.

PORT CHARLOTTE — The Motzer family is looking to pick up the pieces after an electrical fire at their Rodgers Avenue home Monday left them scrambling for a place to live.

Bob and Bunny Motzer are also searching for four of their house-cats, which are still missing after the fire.
