PORT CHARLOTTE — Patrons of the Mid-County Regional Library can look forward to relaxing while they read in the sunlight surrounded by Florida-friendly fauna in the media center’s garden, thanks to the efforts of some local Boy Scouts. The project should be completed Sunday.

“It was a lot of work,” said Boy Scout Shawn Johnson, 14. “All the roots were ingrown and there was a lot of rocks.”
