Karrie Jackson White, 83, passed away from respiratory failure, Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013.

She was born Aug. 17, 1929, in Orange Park, Fla.

She was the daughter of Cebron Byrd Jackson and Bertha (Kent) Jackson.

Karrie was a homemaker and also was the secretary for White’s Men’s Shop in Bartow.

Karrie was a long-time member of the Bartow First Baptist Church and the Winter Haven Hospital Auxiliary.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. White; and son-in-law, Nolan McLeod.

She is survived by a loving family that includes two daughters, Judy Brandon and husband Nathan of Canton, Ga., and Nancy McLeod of Auburndale; and son, David White of Bartow. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 8, from 6-8 p.m. at the Bartow First Baptist Church Sanctuary, 410 E. Church St., Bartow.

Funeral services follow at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Winter Haven Voluntary Auxiliary, c/o Winter Haven Hospital, 200 Ave. F, Winter Haven, FL 33881, or the Bartow First Baptist Church Building Fund, 410 E. Church St., Bartow, FL 33830.
