Charles W. Arnold, 66, passed away suddenly Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Bartow Regional Medical Center of heart failure.

Born Oct. 17, 1946, in Plant City, Mr. Arnold was a longtime resident of Bartow.

He was a sales representative with Cothron Construction Company of Dover. He was an Air Force veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was an elder with the Bartow First Presbyterian Church; a Master Mason with the Winter Haven Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his loving wife of
45 years, Katherine Ann Arnold of Bartow; son, Matt Arnold and wife Trisha of LaBelle; daughter, Amy Gunter and husband Keith of Fort Meade; brother David Arnold and wife Cindi of Lakeland; sister, Rosane Cole and husband Calvin of Lake Wales; grandchildren, Krystle Weems, Fort Myers, Jacob Stephens of St. Augustine, and Trey Gunter of Fort Meade.

Family will receive friends Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St., Bartow.

Funeral service is Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the Bartow First Presbyterian Church, 355 S. Florida Ave, Bartow.
