Bartow High’s Future Educators of America have started a fundraiser where the club will receive five cents for every pound of donated items to a bin that is located at Lowe’s, 425 E. Van Fleet Drive.

The donations will go to Goodwill and people can donate housewares, collectibles, home décor, clothing, shoes or books. Goodwill will then pay FEA for the donations.

The money raised from the Suncoast Goodwill Chapter out of St. Petersburg will be used to fund classroom supplies, and state conference fees.

They have raised $42 since they started.

Early release Wednesday

Students in public schools will be released from class one hour early on Wednesday, Dec. 5. That means those who get rides with their parents will be ready to be picked up from school one hour earlier than they usually are.
