Bartow wins A-Team title

The Bartow High School A-Team, coached by teachers Peggy Frisbie and Chris Guice, captured the county title Thursday at Lake Region High School.
After a challenging afternoon of preliminary rounds, six final teams faced off for the final round. Competing with the BHS team were Haines City, Lakeland Christian, Harrison, All Saints Academy and Winter Haven High School — a lot of brain power in one place.
