S.L. Frisbie, IV, long-time editor and publisher of the Democrat who retired three years ago, was named Editorial Page Editor of The Polk County Democrat on Monday.

“There is no one in Bartow who can write about the issues of the city and provide the type of analysis that leads to better understanding than S.L.,” said Democrat Publisher Jim Gouvellis.
