Among the artwork adorning the second floor of the Polk County Courthouse is this quilt version of Pablo Picasso's "Guernica." It, along with other pieces of art are on loan from the Polk Musuem of Art. The quilt was made by Brandie Ward, Richelle Williamson and Derek Young, from Frostproof Middle School, grades 6-8.

Fantasy Bird is a quilt that was made by students at Hillcrest Elementary School, and is one of several available for viewing on the second floor of the Polk County Courthouse. It is on loan from the Polk Museum of Art as part of a collaborative effort with Polk County Public Schools.
