While many probably think of hogs and steers when it comes to the annual Polk County Youth Fair, the event that kicks off its 66th year later this month shows off a lot more than that.

To name just two items in which students from around the county will take part include a chili cook off contest and an archery event. Both are extremely popular and neither have anything to do with animals.
